LaConner Pets is a new pet store in a cute tourist town near the tulip fields in Washington state. The owner wanted a whimsical, circus feel for the new branding and this is what we came up with. I'll be visiting the store this week to see the new logo and signage in person. More pics coming soon!
I designed the interior pages for this new book by Don Weiss, who served as an infectious disease epidemiologist for 23 years with the New York City Department of Health. This is a captivating collection of true stories from the frontlines of public health in NYC from 2000 to 2022. Each chapter unfolds like a mystery, blending scientific detective work with personal insights and historical context, making for a thrilling and educational read.
Available on amazon! The author wanted a bold "kick-ass" cover to go with her book about breaking free from generational trauma, embracing the power of education, and reclaiming your life with purpose and passion. Hardback, paperback and Kindle versions available now on amazon.com.
I loved working on this "geezer" adventure book! It was inspiring to read that retirement isn’t about slowing down, it’s about ramping up for the most exciting chapter of your life. It's packed with practical tips, safety advice, and inspiration for travel adventures. And it's available now on amazon and soon at IngramSpark bookshop.

Here is a sampling of some recent logo designs. Developing standards for consistent messaging across all communication is key to establishing your brand as credible and reliable, one that has spent time considering the values it represents. That starts with a company logo!
New book alert! OSINT: The Authoritative Guide to Due Diligence is an in-depth guide packed with resources and real-life examples on how to utilize open-source intelligence (OSINT). Shown here are some of the interior pages of this book that I formatted; each chapter is filled with detailed explanations, case studies, interesting sidebars and key takeaways from the author. Find the book here on amazon.com.
I am finalizing the production details for The Unpoet, A Memoir of Microtales before publishing on Amazon. The author wanted the book cover to be dark and foreboding, with a noir, back-alley feeling. The interior pages follow suit with "smoky" chapter heading pages and distressed fonts.
Update: now on amazon.com! ...consider a ferry ride to San Juan Island! The latest newsletter for Earthbox Inn & Spa highlights many places to explore, relax, and enjoy the beauty. Happy Spring!
