After researching durable outdoor sign materials for Bird Rock Hotel to replace the former wood-framed model (which leaked and weathered at the seams), I came across this solid PVC board technique that is machine carved using custom artwork, and then hand painted. It can last for 15+ years, as opposed to replacing wood signs every 3 years. I love the depth and texture of this sign, as well as being able to keep the framed look to match the historic vibe of the hotel.
